Day 1

Arrival in Ubud & start of healing 1 hour and 30 minutes from Ngurah Rai Airport to Ubud, slowly adjust after arrival. Grab from the airport to Ubud is about 250,000 IDR (about 21,000 won). Grab is cheaper than Bluebird Taxi.

Ubud Monkey Forest A sacred forest where over 700 Balinese long-tailed monkeys live. Three ancient Hindu temples, moss-covered statues, and a banyan tree create a mystical atmosphere. Communicate with the monkey by giving it a banana (sold at the entrance). Filming location for the movie “Eat, Pray, Love.” Sunglasses, earrings, hiding food. The monkey caught it! Entrance fee 80,000IDR. 4-5 PM is the best light for photos.

Local Balinese food such as babi guling (barbecued whole pig), nasi champur (mixed rice), and satay rillit (fish skewers). The air conditioning is cool and the atmosphere is good, so both tourists and locals enjoy visiting. There are a lot of foods with strong spices, so if it's your first time, ask for the spicy flavor to be omitted. "Tidak pedas" = not spicy. Nasi Campur Bali + Avocado Juice Dinner peak 7-8pm.
