Din Tai Fung Main Branch is a famous Xiao Long Bao restaurant selected as one of the top 10 restaurants in the world. It started as a cooking oil store in 1958 and now has branches around the world. The head office is located in Yeongwondae (永康街). 18 wrinkles, thin skin, and juicy dumplings are the signature. There is a waiting line on the 1st floor, and the restaurant starts on the 2nd floor. How to eat dumplings: Dip them in ginger + vinegar and take them in one bite. Be careful of the gravity. 10 Xiao Long Bao + Shrimp Fried Rice + Sanlatang Lunch. Ningxia Night Market (寧夏夜市)The night market most loved by Taipei locals. There are more locals than tourists so prices are reasonable. There are many good restaurants within a short 300m distance. Luroupan (pork rice bowl), beef soup, oyster pancakes, and taro balls are must-eat foods. 10-minute walk from MRT Zhongshan Station. “Yussi Luroupan” is a restaurant with 50 years of tradition. Oyster pancakes are served right on the plate. Lurou plate + oyster pancake + taro ball dinner. The shortest line is right after opening at 6-7pm.

A 5-minute walk from MRT Jiantan Station. “Ho Chi Mien” Daechang Sausage and “Ajong Myeon Seon” noodles are local restaurants. There are also shops where bargaining is possible. Jjipai (King Chicken) + Daechang Sausage + Mango Shaved Ice. Busiest on weekends from 8-10pm. Weekdays are the best.

Taipei's largest night market. You can enjoy food, shopping, and games. Food stalls are crowded in the underground gourmet street. A paradise of unique food, including large fried chicken (chi-pie), sausages, shaved ice, and crocodile skewers (?!).

21:30 night market

An efficient night market with a 600m straight course. The “Fuzhou Hujolobing” line at the entrance signals the start of the night market. Herbal rib soup, Taiwanese sausage, and papaya milk are popular. Directly connected to Songsan Station.

Recommended: Hujjolobing (hotteok) + herbal rib soup + papaya milk 180NTD (약 7,600원) ⏰ The line at the entrance to Hujolobing is 30 minutes+. First, get a number and wait while eating other food.
