The first palace of the Joseon Dynasty. There are many things to see, including Geunjeongjeon, Gyeonghoeru, and Hyangwonjeong. The guard changing ceremony (10:00 and 14:00) is a must-see. There are many hanbok rental shops around the palace, so if you enter after experiencing hanbok, admission is free and you can take pictures of your life.

Hongdae, Yeonnam-dong, Itaewon - Seoul's trendy cultural experience

A mecca of Korean indie culture. Busking performances, clubs, and live cafes are concentrated here. On weekend afternoons, you can watch performances throughout the streets. Shopping at character shops and vintage shops is also fun.
Multicultural street. It is full of restaurants from around the world, unique pubs, and antique furniture stores. Gyeongnidan-gil is full of sophisticated cafes and restaurants. Haebangchon is a mecca for hipsters and has a unique atmosphere.
A great pizza restaurant on Gyeongnidan-gil, Itaewon. Neapolitan-style pizza baked in a wood-fired oven. The signature is the Margherita with a long layer of mozzarella cheese. Wine pairing recommended.
Hongdae is lively from the afternoon, and Itaewon has a nice atmosphere in the evening. It is efficient if you move in the order of movement.

The highest observatory in Korea at 555 meters high. A dizzying experience at the glass-floored sky deck on floors 117-123. On a clear day, you can even see Bukhansan Mountain. You can also shop at Lotte World Mall.
A lake in the city with a great view of Lotte World Tower. A walk around the trail takes 40 minutes. The best cherry blossom spot in Seoul during cherry blossom season. Relax at a waterside cafe.
